International Bonsai & Suiseki Meeting
at Crespi Bonsai Museum in Parabiago, Milano, Italy. For this occasion the
Enthusiasts' Exhibition (amateurs' bonsai
trees) is planned in the first week-end, from 10th to 12th
September, while the exhibitions
Crespi Bonsai Cup and
Crespi Shohin Cup (professionals' and
collectors' bonsai trees) will be held in the week-end from 17th to
19th September.
From 10th to 19th September the following competitions
will be planned: the competitions
Crespi Suiseki Cup, for all suiseki
collectors, and the
Crespi Pot Cup, dedicated to bonsai pot
collectors and pot masters. Several prizes will be awarded including the
Coppa Kaneko Memory awarded to the best
tree based on technical, naturalness and artistic quality, the
Coppa Yokohama awarded to the best
conifer bonsai and the
Coppa Masakuni to the best deciduous
bonsai, selected among all the bonsai exhibited in the
Enthusiasts' Exhibition.

will be held in
Tianjin, China (near Beijing). To assist overseas travelers, BCI and hosts have
arranged a 12 day VIP tour of China which departs 30 September and concludes on

(日本盆栽大観展),
is the biggest annual bonsai exposition in the Kansai (west Japan) area held at
